This dashing young man wants to be your Valentine!
And guess what.... he's free!
I have a huge selection of vintage photographs and this one has always been a favorite of mine.
I enhanced him a bit, turned him a pinkish, sepia-toned color and added the word LOVE. That's what he's bringing to you in his tiny mailbag, by the way.
I took this image (above) and printed it on white cardstock and stuck it in an 8x10 frame.
Instant Valentine art!
You can do the same.
Save the image to your computer and make anything you want: frame it, make it into mini-Valentine cards or tags, etc.
While you are copying and printing, add these to your queue as well:
Anything "LOVE" Toppers!
Anything (not just cupcakes) can be topped with a sweet, little Valentine LOVE.
We, at Peppermint Plum, are trying to get our households to eat healthier this year. If you are as well, then these are perfect.
There's no rule that says Valentine's Day has to be all about sugar... although it is much more delicious that way. But, so much sugar, so soon after the Christmas holidays just isn't necessary.
You can let your family and friends know how much they are loved in lots of little ways. Make these Anything "LOVE" Toppers and poke away!
Here is the single image, to be saved, sized and printed as you wish:
This page of 12 images is also ready to be saved, printed, cut out, glued then poked:
In case you missed those instructions:
